  1. Prepare Amla

    Wash the amla thoroughly.

  2. Knead /Prick Amla

    If you want to soften the amla,Knead /Prick Amla with the help of Fork/heavy utensil or toothpick stick.

    This process helps in breaking down the fibers, making them more receptive to the syrup.

    Note:

    Wear Gloves while Kneading to protect your hand from blackness and potential staining.

  3. Add Sugar

    Add Sugar in Amla.Mix Well

    Cover the bowl with Plate.

  4. Melting

    After 15-20 minutes of adding sugar, you can see sugar starts melting.

  5. Sugar is Melted

    After 1 hour ,sugar is converted in the form of syrup.

  6. Boil Amla

    Once all sugar is melted, Transfer Kneaded amla and syrup in Pan.

    Simmer on low heat.

  7. Sugar Syrup

    When the amla become translucent and the sugar syrup thickens. Stir occasionally to ensure even coating.

  8. Check Consistency

    To check if the murabba is ready, take a drop of syrup between your fingers. It should form a soft thread.

    Take the Murabba on spoon and press it with fingure, if it should soft then murabba is ready.

  9. Cool and Store

    Allow the murabba to cool completely before transferring it to a clean, dry jar. Seal the jar and let it sit for a day or two. This allows the flavors to meld and intensify.
